Serves: 6 sliders
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook time: 20 min
Ingredients
- 1 pack Hatfield® Texas Smokehouse Boneless Pork Roast, shredded.
- 12 slider buns, Hawaiian rolls or brioche slider buns.
- 6 slices cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese.
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted.
- 1 pack Hatfield® Hardwood Smoked Bacon, chopped (optional).
- Pickles, for topping (optional).
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F, and shred your pork into bite-sized pieces.
- Step 2: Slice the Hawaiian sweet rolls or brioche slider buns in half, then place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Step 3: Evenly layer the shredded pork over the bottom half of the buns. Place a slice of cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese on top of the pork, and scatter chopped bacon on top (if using).
- Step 4: Place the top half of the buns on the pork and cheese layers, then brush the top buns with melted butter.
- Step 5: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to make the buns golden and crispy.
- Step 6: Once baked, remove from the oven and add pickles (if desired) on top of the cheese sliders. Serve warm and enjoy!
