PORK SLOPPY JOES

Ingredients:
- 3 lb Hatfield® Recipe Essentials® Ground Pork
- 1 jar (12 oz) roasted red peppers
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 white onion
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1½ Tbsp brown sugar
- 4 whole garlic cloves
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- Cheese of your choice
Preparation:
- In a blender or food processor, combine the roasted pepper, tomato sauce, onion, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, paprika, garlic, mustard powder and hot sauce. Puree until smooth. Set aside.
- In a sauté pan, heat oil over medium high heat. Add ground pork and cook, stirring and breaking up with a spoon. Cook until sausage is fully browned, about 10 minutes.
- Add the tomato sauce/red pepper mixture. Stir well, bringing to a simmer.
- Cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon Sloppy Joes onto buns and top with cheese.
