GROUND SAUSAGE MU SHU LETTUCE WRAPS

Ingredients:
- 1 pack Recipe Essentials Sesame Soy Ginger Ground Sausage (NEW FLAVOR)
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 8 oz. shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- ½ cup of scallions, sliced on the bias
- 1 bag of Slaw mix
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- Crushed red pepper, to taste
- Boston lettuce leaves or Romaine Lettuce
- Hoisin Sauce (drizzle on finished wrap)
Preparation:
- In a large sauté pan, heat 1 teaspoon of sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add in the Recipe Essentials Sesame Soy Ginger Ground Sausage. While cooking, break apart the ground sausage using a utensil. Cook until brown, and no longer pink (10-12 minutes). Once cooked, remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the olive oil, mushrooms and scallions. Cook until tender;.
- Add the slaw mix, cook until slightly wilted.
- Return the cooked ground sausage to the pan; stir in the soy sauce and crushed red pepper. Serve on lettuce leaves and drizzle with hoisin sauce.
