MAPLE APPLE SAUSAGE PATTIES

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. Recipe Essentials Ground Pork
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp. dried sage
- Dash nutmeg
- 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and finely diced
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 Tbsp. Canola oil
Preparation:
- In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Form mixture into patties. (makes approximately 8-10 patties, depending on how large you make them)
- Heat a medium sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add your canola oil and fry until golden brown on each side about 6 minutes, until cooked through.
- Serve with eggs, pancakes, French toast or your favorite breakfast treat.
