½ cup Hatfield®Recipe Essentials® Sweet Italian Sausage
1 flatbread pizza crust
2-3 fl oz pizza sauce
1 cup fresh mozzarella, pulled
Fresh basil
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375º F.
In a sauté pan over medium high heat, cook sausage, stirring and breaking up with a spoon. Cook until sausage is fully browned, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
On a sprayed baking sheet, cook the pizza crust for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and apply a thin layer of pizza sauce. Then top with a generous layer of mozzarella. Top with browned sausage or layer under the cheese.
