Ingredients:
- ½ cup Hatfield®Recipe Essentials® Sweet Italian Sausage
- 1 flatbread pizza crust
- 2-3 fl oz pizza sauce
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella, pulled
- Fresh basil
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 375º F.
- In a sauté pan over medium high heat, cook sausage, stirring and breaking up with a spoon. Cook until sausage is fully browned, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- On a sprayed baking sheet, cook the pizza crust for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and apply a thin layer of pizza sauce. Then top with a generous layer of mozzarella. Top with browned sausage or layer under the cheese.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes. Top with fresh basil.
