Creamy Pasta Carbonara

• In a medium bowl, combine the eggs, heavy cream, grated parmesan, parsley, salt and red pepper flakes.
• Cook bacon until crisp, then crumble and set aside. Reserve 1 tablespoon of bacon grease.
• Using 1 tablespoon of grease, heat over medium high heat, add the mushrooms and onions until onions are translucent and mushrooms are soft.
• Drain pasta, add the onion mushroom mixture. Pour the cream mixture over the pasta, place on stovetop, low heat and stir for 1-2 minutes.
• Stir in crumbled bacon and serve with additional parmesan cheese
