1 pack Hatfield® Hardwood Smoked Uncured Bacon, cut in half
2 large avocados
4 large pieces of leaf lettuce
4 leaves of thinly sliced basil
2 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
4 ciabatta rolls, lightly toasted
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
In a large sauté pan over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. Remove from heat and set aside.
Mash avocados and combine with basil. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread avocado onto rolls and top with bacon, lettuce, and tomato. Finish with a little more avocado, then cut sandwiches in half and serve with your favorite side.
