BBQ PORK BURGERS

Ingredients:
- 1 lb Hatfield® Recipe Essentials® Ground Pork
- ¼ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 small red onion, half minced, half sliced for burgers
- ¾ cup BBQ sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 rolls
- Oil to brush on the grill
Preparation:
- Preheat grill to medium high heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine pork, cheddar cheese, garlic, minced onion, BBQ sauce, salt and pepper. Mix gently with fork, be careful not to overwork as this will make the burgers dense.
- Form into 4 patties. With thumb, make a ½-inch deep indentation in center of patty.
- Brush grill grates with oil.
- Season burgers with salt and pepper. Grill until cooked through, 4-8 minutes per side.
- Serve on roll with sliced onion and favorite toppings.
